2 Days Level 1 Sailing Certificate Training Camp
The two days class certificate training camp was organised by the Discovery Marine Sales and Services Ltd. and instructed by the Hong Kong Sailing Association recognized coaches. The theoretical and practical training will be formed in a 6 person group. Students’ errors can be corrected properly so that they can master driving skills in a short time. Standard Optimist and toppers boats will be used.
The course includes Basic sail driving techniques and methods, nautical terminology, sail structure, and equipment awareness and application, knotting technology nautical traffic rules and basic knowledge of adjustment, and arrangement for the Hong Kong Yacht Association’s sail (steering) first-class navigation certificate (Level 1). Upon completion of the course and the passing of the exam, the participates will receive a certificate.
Admission: One who is 6 years of age or older and who can swim with Breaststroke or Craw stoke for 50 minutes.
5 Days Level 2 Sailing Certificate Training Camp
This sailing course is organised by the Discovery Marine Sales and Services Ltd. and instructed by the Hong Kong Sailing Association recognized coaches. It will be formed in a 6 person team, offering theoretical and practical training. Students will be properly corrected for errors so they can master driving skills and enjoyment in a short period of time. Stand Optimist and topper boats will be used.
Course includes Basic sailing driving techniques and methods, nautical terms, method structure and equipment awareness and application of knotting technology, nautical traffic rules and basic knowledge of tides, etc., and the arrangement for the Hong Kong Yacht Association’s sail (steering) and maritime certificate (level2) Upon completion of the course and the passing of the exam, the participants will be issued a certificate.
Admission: One who is 11 years of age or older and can swim with a Breaststroke or a Craw stroke for 50 meters.
